A custom cake maker working from a small home atelier in Ipswich.

Arabella has been baking for as long as she can remember — first for family, then for friends, then for strangers who became friends. What began with afternoon birthday cakes has grown into a small bespoke practice serving weddings, christenings and celebrations across Suffolk.

Every cake is made by hand, in small batches, with proper ingredients and the time each piece deserves. There are no shortcuts and no two cakes are the same. The work is quiet, careful and deeply personal — exactly the way a celebration cake should be.

Primarily Ipswich and the surrounding Suffolk villages — but plenty of clients have driven in from much further afield for a cake that's truly theirs. If you're outside the local area, just ask: most journeys can be arranged.
